Always rewind your video tapes to the beginning when finished
and store like a book on a shelf with the 'loaded' end on the bottom.
Even videotapes that are stored properly begin
to degrade after just 5 years of ownership. It is important to make 'back-ups' about every 2-5 years, or to have your video
converted to DVD for longer lasting preservation of your important memories.
